Skating Rink at Kemp Park in North Adams.

It was fun to skate every winter. Each school had a skating rink for the neighborhood kids. You always brought your skates if you went to someones house in the city.

what a shame we don't have this anymore. This is one activity that the city and residents should do again and get our kids doing something other than watching tv or getting into trouble. what great times we had on that rink and Woody ran the warming hut and helped to make this one of my favorite childhood memories.

It was one of my favorite things to do in the winter.I walked over a mile in freezing temps with my skates slung over my shoulder,alone or with friends.I really miss ice skating.Although its been years since I moved away from NA,its still my home.Moe
