Posted: 06/25/2001 Comments... The two little doors on either side are for entrance to the boy's and girl's basements. The rest rooms were in the basements in the old elementary schools. Posted: 06/25/2001 Comments... Thank you. When I stop to think about it, there are too many steeples to be St Johns in North Adams. Also there are quite a few steps leading to the door of the Post Office that are missing in this photo. St. Stans makes much more sense.
