The Mass was celebrated by the Cardinal who was a close friend of Adams native John Tumpane. Mr. Tumpane hosted several trips to Rome for the people of Adams. The Cardinal, who worked in the Vatican, visisted Adams several times.

Outdoor Mass celebrated by Cardinal Vagnozzi (?) who was visiting St. Thomas Aquinas Church as a guest of his friend pastor, Fr. Timothy Champoux. Time frame is mid to late 70's.
