It is the pond up front on the road - not Daubs pond - that was across the street and in the back off of the street - we used to go there when we were young

I remember going to Doubs Pond when I was a little girl...they used to cut ice there in the winter. It was somewhere in Clarksburg, but I can't remember where...it was a long time ago! In the 40's the ice men used to still make deliveries. Kronick's Store on Eagle St. used to have a soda cooler, cooled with ice water...that was a cold soda!
