My Grandparents, Ernest & Julia Blair lived downstairs for awhile in the late 50's. There were always so many neighborhood kids to play with when we would visit. I remember running and trying to jump over the bushes with the "thorns". What fond memories I have.

Would the cut-line for this picture have been something like "Spring Has Been Upside Down, Lately"?

I lived at 50 Spring St. from 1952 until 1962 and when it snowed I would look out my bedroom window and the house would be covered with snow along with the shrubs, what a beautiful sight. I still can picture it 40years later. It was a great neighborhood, we could walk to Fishpond every day in the summer and to Noel feild in the winter to skate. There were people from every religion and color and everyone got along fine.
