In this scene the police are investigating an unusual road fatality by interviewing three eye witnesses. In the back right of the frame you can see a demon possessed 1974 Pontiac Bonneville station wagon lurking in the tall grass waiting for the opportunity to attack and kill the police and witnesses. The movie was in the theaters for a short time then came out on VHS. Gene Hackman was to have the lead role, but he got very sick right before production started.
