It's long since gone--I believe it was a fire--but on the last crest of a hill going south on Old Cheshire Rd.--about half a mile from Summer St.--there was a complex consisting of a huge barn and several smaller farm buildings. Who ever owned it raised turkeys. For a while they alsonhad peacocks. If you look towards the top of the photo near the middle you can see Mt. Greylock. One hellavu view. Is it not?
