Who is old enough to remember the Mohawk Gift Shop across the street one store down from Ashland Street...it was run by the Lenhoff's and they had the neatest indian slippers and all kinds of goodies...If I remember correctly, they also owned a shop on the Mohawk Trail. When darn ole urban renual came, the owners retired and thier loyal employee opened the shop in the picture.

I REMEMBER! MY MOTHER AND I USED TO GO IN ALL THE TIME AND LOOK AT THE BEAUTIFUL INDIAN THINGS...THOSE WERE THE DAYS!

I also remember when it was up near the corner of Main and Ashland....I think one of the employees bought it when the owners retired and moved down the street to the location in the picture.
