Looking up Union street building next to Ace's Tavern

The donut shop was Lefave's Donut Shop operated by George Lefave and known for it's "Spudnuts" a donut made with potato flour. I beleive there is a coffee shop at that location now.

isn't the old champs bar right there, and the old crystal bar just up on right where the bikers would hang out. and wasnt it pops store just before champs bar??

Pops was before you crossed the bridge on the opposite side of the road across from Quins Paint store.

When I was a small child...probably around 1943, there was a hardware store and an A&P or a First National along this row...does anyone else remember ?
