Mt. Greylock looking east towards Adams

In the 70's hang gliding off of Greylock became very popular. Apparently the up drafts on the east side of the mountain could sustain a flight for a substantial period of time. I was told that for a period of time an individual who took flight off Mt. Greylock set the East Coast Hang Time record.
