Mary was our "go to" player. She was one of the first girls to display a true jump shot. I believe this picture was taken the year that we won our first and only state championship. I'll never forget those days that now seem a lifetime ago.

Incidentally, those uniforms were a hideous 70's powder blue. We used to call them the pajamas. What I can't remember is why we were wearing them at home.

I haven't seen Mary since we graduated in 1979. She was not just a great athlete. She was also a wonderful person and a great student! I remember being at the game where she scored her 1000th point. Go Mary!

This is my wonderful sister Mary... I who am not a sports fan by any means.. Mary is the only one whoever held my interest in basketball.(except for my son) How could she not? She was great!!! She is a wonderful sister and friend.. I love you Mary.. Lynn xox
